NEUROCURIOUS IS BUILT TO NORMALISE ALL NEURO-TYPES, WHETHER YOU’RE DISCOVERING, SUPPORTING, OR SIMPLY CURIOUS.
Our events follow The WomenHood framework, keeping it interactive, practical and accessible:
Knowledge
Explore how our differences show up within neurodivergence and the often-overlooked strengths they bring.
Mindset
Hear unspoken stories from diverse neurodivergent voices, building empathy and understanding.
Toolkit
Learn simple, effective ways to advocate for your needs (or support others) with strategies that make a difference at home, work, and beyond. The panel and Q&A will focus on self-advocacy and allyship.
Hosted by Jess Rad (she/her), and joined by a variety of diverse speakers to share their stories, NeuroCurious is here to help you:
Understand your own preferences and sensitivities and learn how to advocate for
your needsStep into the lived experience of our speakers, hearing their Unspoken Stories
Explore practical ways to self-advocate for yourself and support those around you
Be part of a welcoming and positive space to gain insight, build compassion, and take away practical tools.
NeuroCurious is here to normalise all neurotypes and mainstream the conversation so everyone feels able to learn in a safe and brave space
Who is it for?
Individuals
Maybe you've just heard about neurodiversity and it resonates deeply, or perhaps you’re currently on a waitlist, self-identify or been diagnosed - but still on the journey of self discovery or yet to find others who “get it”.
Family, Friends, Allies
Perhaps your child, partner or friend is neurodivergent, either recently (or self) diagnosed or on a waitlist and you want to better understand how to support them.
Managers, Leaders, Workplaces
Feel like you “should” be doing more but fearful of getting it wrong? Show your support of diverse minds and fellow neurodivergent employees and bring your teams to learn together, online or in person.
NeuroCurious is our flagship events series, created by Jess Rad (she/her), Founder of The WomenHood, award-winning social entrepreneur, parent carer, solo mama and late-identified neurodivergent woman.
To make the in person event truly accessible, we’re partnering with Joyfully Different - expect thoughtful touches like colour-coded networking lanyards, a fidget toy library, a quiet room, and a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Be part of a welcoming and positive space to gain insight, build compassion, and take away practical tools.
We’re here to normalise neurodiversity and create lasting change.

NeuroCurious Event FAQs
-
NeuroCurious is for anyone interested in learning more about neurodiversity in females in an open, supportive, and inclusive space. We welcome all neurodivergent individuals, and their families, friends, colleagues, and all allies who want to deepen their understanding and awareness.
-
Yes! NeuroCurious is designed to be inclusive of all genders. The research is binary, but we understand the gender is a galaxy and warmly invite all non-binary, trans and gender non-conforming folk.
We are also here for the men! We may be called The WomenHood, but our work is inclusive and supportive of men.
Neurodivergence affects everyone, and this event is about increasing understanding, connection, and allyship across all communities, families and teams.
-
We are designed for anyone aged 18 and over and hope to invite many generations to join us (neurodivergence rarely exists in isolation :)
-
Yes, the event will be recorded, select this ticket when purchasing tickets.
-
Absolutely. Bringing your team is a fantastic way to support neurodivergent individuals in your workplace, encourage inclusivity, and gain valuable insights into how to create a more neuro-affirmative environment. Attending as a group can help teams develop greater empathy, awareness, and strategies for making workplaces more accessible and empowering for neurodivergent colleagues.
Email hello@thewomenhood.com for a ticket bundle option of five tickets or more.

We understand that large events can sometimes be overwhelming. That’s why we have partnered with Joyfully Different and Platfr9m to ensure your sensory needs can be met. We will have a quiet room available throughout the event, traffic light lanyards so you can manage your interactions, and The WomenHood volunteers around to support you. You can step in and out at any time, and there is absolutely no pressure to stay in the main space if you need a break.
-
We fully understand and acknowledge that social communication can be trickier for some. We design the event to support this, with a team on hand to support, things to do, and a traffic light lanyard system to make your intentions clear.
Plus there is no expectation for social interaction if you don’t want to.
-
Don’t worry, we understand this completely! The WomenHood team will be present on arrival and throughout the event to offer support, answer questions, and ensure that everyone feels welcome and comfortable. We have included pictures of the venue to help prepare you and will send out multiple reminders beforehand to help ease any fears.
If you need any assistance or have any additional questions, feel free to reach out before the event on hello@thewomenhood.com we want to make this as accessible and enjoyable as possible for everyone

Yes, a version of this is available for businesses from The WomenHood. Please contact Jess Rad on hello@thewomenhood.com to learn more.
We explore how to embrace neurodiversity, understanding the female presentation, exploring the intersection with perimenopause and more. All sessions have an excellent net promoter score.
